TEENSERVE THIS THURSDAY at 5:30 pm, we will be meeting with all of the churches and service groups that are interested in bringing TeenServe to our community at the end of July ’10. We need 9 small groups/individual leaders to pull this off. We’ll be raising $28,000 and impacting the Fergus area to the tune of $250,000 (free labor, locally purchased materials, etc). If you’d like to be on board or know someone who is, please contact JoEllen Thacker, Darcy Koeckeritz, or Jordan Rasmusson. Let Pastor Matthew know if you’d like to join us on the Chippewa Falls mission trip from June 14-20 (give him $50, your age, and t-shirt size and he’ll e-mail you the forms to fill out). Our goal is 50 from Fergus...we have 31 sixth-tenth grade youth and adults signed up so far.

BREAKFAST CLUB We’ve been having a blast with adults of all generations who are coming to prepare and eat breakfast with us every Tuesday at 7:30 am in the Fellowship Hall. We still need meals for all of January. We really have great senior high youth in our church...come meet them.

SUNDAY HOSPITALITY A training session will be held on Saturday, January 10 at 11:00a.m. for anyone who is new to or uncertain about the responsibilities for Sunday hospitality. That will inlcude ushering, greeting, comminion assistants, reading, acolytes, food. Pastors will be present for the training.

SKI TRIP On Martin Luther King Jr Day, Jan 19, we will be going skiing at Andes Tower from 11:30 am-9:30 pm. Please sign up on the bulletin board in the Youth Room and give Pastor Matthew $35 (checks payable to Bethlehem). Snowboarding is $10 more, cross country skiing is $10 less. Supper will be provided. Senior high youth are welcome to join the Confirmation students on this event. We’ll be leaving from the 1st Lutheran parking lot.

WACKY BOWLING G.Y.F.T.S. Event (Growing Young Families Together Socially) Sunday, Jan. 25, 4:00p.m. at Northern Aire Lanes in Fergus Falls. Bring a friend, all are welcome to attend!

ANNUAL MEETING Sunday, Jan. 25, 9:45a.m. in the Sanctuary

KIDS AGAINST HUNGER We will be having our next open package on Fri, Jan 30th from 3:30-5:30 pm. Please bring a friend and a $20-35 donation. Could we package our millionth meal in ’09?
